Veronica van Montfrans
Steering Committee 2015, 2016
PhD Candidate, Educational Psychology
Veronica is a self-proclaimed globetrotter and shameless knowledge junkie. Born in Germany, raised overseas, and spending the better part of a decade in the swamps of North Florida, Veronica came to Virginia Tech in August of 2014 to begin her PhD studies. After graduating from Mary Baldwin College and earning her Masters from the University of Virginia, she spent seven years teaching high school science, while simultaneously earning an MA in Communication and Leadership Studies. Expect to find Veronica spending as much time outside as possible. If you see her, she’ll expect you to join and swap life stories.
